55/23 REPORT FROM DISTRICT COUNCILLORS, COUNTY COUNCILLORS
Cllr Brockway presented the following:
- There is a fund at West Lindsey District Council for support to people that have suffered flooding in their main house
- There is also a Central Government Fund which can be applied for in certain cases
- The bridge at Burton Waters ownership will need resolution and it could be a combination of various agencies. Saxilby had similar problems. Also one of the two flood defence gates has gone which needs to be returned.
- Cllr North raised the fact that when they now cut the banks of the river they plave the debris on the edge not the top. This causes blockages as it gets washed downstream which adds to flooding issues. Cllr Brockway to check.
