MINUTES OF BURTON-BY-LINCOLN PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 14th January 2025 AT 7.00PM

 03/25                   MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING OF TUESDAY 26th November 2024

                           It was proposed by Cllr Scott and seconded by Cllr Marriott to accept the minutes of

                           the last meeting. It was resolved to accept the minutes as a true copy of the meeting

                           Resolved All in favour

 

 04/25                 Councillor Vacancy : Co Option

                           In response to the advertised vacancy one response had been received from Claire

                           Howard. Cllr North proposed that Claire Howard should be co opted seconded by Cllr

                           Williams. Resolved All in favour

                            It was proposed by Cllr Marriott and seconded by Cllr Williams to accept all the

                            payments made since the last meeting and to accept the current balance. Resolved All

                            in favour.

                                               

  08/25               Highways   

                            

                      (a) Fen Lane

                           There had been no response from Highways. Still waiting for an outcome

                    

                     (b)  Bus Shelter  Middle Street

                           The Clerk confirmed she had had no update despite chasing. But all agreed it was not Parish Council land. (Agreed that the clerk would chase.)

                      ( c)  Water on Manor Lane                       

                            Despite request neither Anglian Water or Environmental Health had resolved the problem. Cllr Williams agreed to follow up.                            

          

    09/25               Planning Matters

                           Cllr North referenced the following planning matters:-

                             WL/2024/00683(685) The Georgian House Hall Drive : Ongoing

                             WL/2024/00667 Battery Storage Granted

                             WL/2024/00016 Land at A15 Riseholme Roundabout

                             Cllr North reported that the report had been sent in and a separate request to highways for an

                             update made. Look North had included a piece on A15 and Cllr North had sent in a reply to get

                              further coverage

 

                         Planning Enforcement

                            Still no outcomes were awaited on fencing at Middle Street .Clerk to chase

                                                                                                                   

     10/25              Speed Warning Signs

                            Cllr Marriott confirmed that the Burton Waters Residents Group were considering

                            spending the money on the speed signs, but it was part of a bigger agenda so outcome

                            awaited

 

     11/25              AOB Ceramic Bowl

                            Cllr North confirmed that it had been brought to her attention that a ceramic bowl made by

                            a local ceramist for Burton Parish Council had been located. It was agreed it should be

                            kept and displayed for the benefit of the village.
